Black bean soup (using leftover bean stew)

Malou Herkes @malouherkes
I cooked a big batch of black beans in the pressure cooker a few days ago. I then made a sort of black bean 'stew' to use as a filling for tacos or rice. Today, I'm turning the stew into soup. Great use of #leftovers.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a saucepan, fry the leek in a little oil until softened.
- 2
Add the leftover black bean stew.
- 3
Dilute the stock cube or bouillon in hot water and add to the pan.
- 4
Bring to the boil, then reduce and allow to warm through.
- 5
Serve if you like with chopped coriander or chilli on top.

Silky Soup Stew
I came up with a way I could eat a lot of vegetables in one bowl.If you over-boil the potatoes, they will crumble, so once you add them to the pot, reduce the heat and simmer. You can add in some bacon or mixed seafood for a beautiful dinner. Recipe by Myuu samada

Chicken & Tomato Stew from Vegetable Soup
I made this recipe variation after I got a craving for tomatoes. I got the idea of making this soup after someone made a soup from a stew we had the night before whilst I was travelling.I'm using breast meat, but thigh meat is much juicier. If you want to make this recipe a bit healthier, then omit the flour. The vegetables in this soup have already been blended so if you want to give your stew a bit of texture, feel free to add any vegetables you find in your freezer. If the aroma isn't too strong for you, feel free to keep the garlic in. Recipe by Garumeri

Korean Style Natto Stew (Cheonggukjang)
Either this Cheonggukjang (Natto stew) is not made in Korean restaurants in Japan or people keep their distance because of the smell. When I lived in Thailand, I often enjoyed this in Korean Town, so I recreated the flavor! If you like natto, this is a flavor that you can't resist. The point to making a delicious Korean stew is to place the garlic and sesame oil into the pot before turning on the heat. Then add the kimchi (and natto) before pouring in the water. This will deepen the flavor. If you add in some of the green section of the leek, some of the smell will calm down. For 2 servings. I always add some black pepper at the end. Recipe by Renmoko

Turkey And Asparagus Soup
In this recipe, I never really measured, there is no set measurements as this is a recipe to use up all vegetables and meat laying about in your house. Save the tips of the vegetables and use them as a thickener for the soup. I had a whole bag of asparagus tips to use up so I saved them and added to the soup, the asparagus are what give this soup the flavour. This tastes a bit like split pea soup. Cooking the juices out of the carcasses and bones is a great way to add fantastic flavour to soups.

27 Minute Ham & Bean Soup
My parents bought us a Cuisinart pressure cooker for Christmas. The instructions are for use with the pressure cooker, but you could easily do this in a slow cooker our on the stove top. It just takes longer. The great thing about using a pressure cooker for this recipe is that you can have bean soup in about 20 minutes that tastes like it has been simmering all day.
