Ingredients

  1. 1 cupDalia / broken wheat
  2. 1small Potato
  3. 1small Tomato
  4. 1small Capsicum
  5. 1small Carrot
  6. 3-4green chilli
  7. Few Beans
  8. 1small Spine Gourd
  9. Few cubes Bottle gourd
  10. 1dry red chilli
  11. 1 tspOnion seeds
  12. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  13. Salt
  14. 1 tbspcrushed Ginger
  15. Oil / Ghee
  16. 1 tspSugar
  17. Warm water as required

Cooking Instructions

    Put Dalia and veggies except tomato into pressure cooker and pressure cook to just 1 whistle only and immediately switch off flame and allow pressure to release by itself. Pressure cook in sufficient water.

    In moderately heated pan add ghee, add dry red chilli + Onion seeds + ginger and allow to crackle, then add Dalia along with veggies and give a good mix. Add tomato + green chilli + salt + sugar and cook for 4-5 minutes, add warm water as required.
    After cooling Dalia turns thick so add water accordingly.
    Dalia is ready.
