Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsthin wheat daliya
  2. 1Carrot cubed
  3. 1 cupfrozen peas
  4. 1/4 cupsoya nuggets
  5. 1/2 cupsprouted moong
  6. 2medium sized tomatoes
  7. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  8. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  9. 1 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tspblack pepper powder
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. 5 cupswater
  13. 1 tbspghee
  14. 1” Ginger
  15. 2green chilies
  16. 1 pinchAsafetida
  17. 1 tsppav bhaji masala

Cooking Instructions

    Take a pressure cooker. Heat it up and add a tsp of ghee

  2. 2

    Add jeera and a pinch of hing / asafoetida

  3. 3

    Add one tsp of chopped ginger and green chillies and tomatoes. One can make paste of all three and use too.

    Now add chopped vegetables, frozen pea, soy nuggets and sprouted moong

  5. 5

    Stir and add salt & black pepper. Add little red chilli powder and little pav bhaji masala too.

    Now add Dalia and mix well

  7. 7

    Give two three whistles and allow to sit for ten minutes.

  8. 8

    Once the pressure is released on it's own, open the lid and serve hot dalia with curd and pickle.
