Ingredients

1-2 servings
  1. Cucumber (medium, peeled & diced) – 1no
  2. lemon (small) – 2no
  3. Mint Leaves – handful Sugar – 2½ tbsp
  4. Salt – to taste
  5. Black Salt – to taste
  6. 1 tspCoriander powder
  7. 1 tspRoasted Cumin Powder
  8. 1/2 tspChaat Masala
  9. Ice cubes – a few
  10. 1 dashwater Soda water (chilled) – to top up
  11. For masala kheera (masala cucumber as accompaniment)
  12. Cucumber slices – 2nos Salt – a pinch
  13. 1 pinchChilli powder –
  14. 1 pinchChaat Masala
  15. 1/2Lemon (small) –

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix together cucumber, lemon, mint, sugar, salt, black salt, coriander powder, roasted cumin, chaat masala and a dash of water. Grind it smooth to a puree.

    In 2 glasses add few ice cubes and pour over the mixture equally. Add few more mint leaves, some lemon wedges and top it up with chilled soda water.

    Stir and serve.

    For masala cucumber sprinkle the cucumber slices with salt, chilli and chaat masala.

    Squeeze lemon on top and serve with the lemonade.
