Ingredients

25 minutes
2 to 3 persons
  1. 225 gmsPotatoes (3 medium size)
  2. 225 gmsfresh green peas (1cup shelled green peas)
  3. 1/4 tsp turmeric
  4. 1/2 tsp chilli powder or according to your taste
  5. 1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder
  6. 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  7. 110 gms Tomatoes (two medium sized tomatoes)
  8. 10 Cashew nuts
  9. 3 tbsp oll
  10. 2 tbsp curd
  11. 1 tsp kasuri methi
  12. Few coriander leaves for garnishing
  13. Salt according to taste

    Boil potatoes, peel and cut them into quarters.

    Shell green peas and boil them.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a pan and fry potatoes and remove in a plate.

  4. 4

    Fry cashews and remove in the plate.

  5. 5

    In same fat, fry masala that’s turmeric, chilliy powder, coriander cumin powder and garam masala add tomato purée and cook till masala and purée is cooked..

    Add well beaten curd and cook continuously stirring. Add fried potatoes, boiled peas, fried cashews, one cup water and simmer till cooked.

    Finish with kasuri methi. Remove in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

    Serve this curry with paratha, puri, chapati, rice or pulao.
