Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cupchopped spring onion
  2. 1 cupbuttermilk
  3. 1/3 cupbesan (chickpea flour)
  4. 1/2 cupwater
  5. 2green chillies(chopped)
  6. 1 tspgrated ginger
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. 1 tspcumin coriander powder
  9. 1/2 tspsugar
  10. For tempering
  11. 2 tspoil or ghee
  12. 1 tspcumin seeds
  13. 1small cinnamon
  14. 3whole pepper
  15. 1bay leaf
  16. 3whole cloves
  17. leavesCurry

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl mix buttermilk and besan. Add water,mix it with whisker.

    Make curry mixture.

  3. 3

    Chopped and wash spring onion.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, curry leaves bay leaf, saute it well.

    Add white part of spring onion and salt,saute for 3 minutes. Add buttermilk besan mixture.

    Add cumin coriander powder, sugar grated ginger.

  7. 7

    Boil for 5 to 6 minutes. Add green part of spring onion,Stir it well.spring onion curry is ready to serve. You can enjoy with ' Rice' or ' khichadi '.
