Batter
Take the wet ingredients- curd, coconut milk, oil, vanilla extract, molasses and vinegar in a bowl. Whisk to combine.
roast the waktnuts on a microwave safe plate for a minute. Powder in a coffe blender
Sift the dry ingredients using a wire basket. This aerates the flour. add the sifted dry ingredients little by little mixing wita spatula. Fold in the strawberries. Make sure that the batter is of right consistency not too thin or thick, Rest the batter for 10-15 minutes - 4
Follow the instruction in the manual for operating the waffle maker. Grease the inside of waffle maker. Preheat waffle maker, 5 minutes. With a ladle spread 3/4c of batter. Do not overfill. spray oil on the top. Close the waffle maker. You will see steam escaping through the waffle maker. Wait for the steam to go away. Do not open the waffle maker while cooking. It may take about 5-8 minutes for the waffle to cook. Keep it closed a little longer if you want the waffle to be crisp.

Turn off the waffle maker. Using a spatula, lift carefully and place the waffle on a plate. Spread honey or maple syrup. You may decorate with sliced strawberries in the pockets. Sprinkle chopped nuts of your choice. I used walnuts. Serve with Vanilla ice cream on the top. Your loved ones would love the healthy delicious chocolate strawberry waffle with walnuts

I like American-style soft waffles more than hard waffles (like bread?).But I wasn't satisfied with the lighter texture. This recipe makes a slightly heavier waffle.I drizzled chocolate sauce this time, but usually I serve it with plenty of whipped cream, jam, and fruit.This waffle is crispy outside but fluffy and moist inside. I love a heavy texture, so I added more flour. If you use butter, it gives it a great flavour; however, I cook with vegetable oil as I always run out of butter, and it is still delicious.To make a Waffle House, use 4 square waffles.
