Cooking Instructions
- 1
Set oven to 400°
- 2
Prepare a 9x9 pan with butter or cooking spray.
- 3
Mix dry ingredients in medium sized bowl
- 4
In a separate bowl mix milk, honey, melted butter, and oil
- 5
In separate bowl beat eggs lightly. In another bowl beat the one egg white until it's frothy.
- 6
Add the eggs to the milk and honey mixture. Add this mixture to the dry mixture and stir only until all ingredients are mixed.
- 7
Pour into prepared pan and let sit for about 5 minutes.
- 8
Bake at 400° for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 9
Just a note....before putting in the oven I drizzled honey over the top. This is optional but gives it a lightly sweet crust. Also an option is to put some butter on the top when it comes out of the oven :-)

Sweet & Moist Honey Cornbread Sweet & Moist Honey Cornbread
This is absolutely my favorite cornbread recipe I've come up with. It is very moist thanks to a little oil added in the batter and a little extra sweet with sugar and honey added in. Your family will devour it! Lauren -

Super Easy Honey Butter Cornbread Super Easy Honey Butter Cornbread
I bought honey butter cornbread from the store once. It was good, but far too expensive. The next time I was craving honey butter cornbread I decided to make it myself. The trick is using real butter. Margarine will work, but it has a much higher water content that could make the cornbread soggy. StephieCanCook -

Honey Almond Corn Bread Honey Almond Corn Bread
Me and my mom started this from a cornbread recipe in a magazine. My mom wanted less wheat and diary in the recipe, so she switched the all-purpose flour to almond flour and milk to almond milk. The result was a delicious cake-like cornbread with a mellow flavor and sweet ting. Don't miss it!Terence Highsmith
