When we have a dinner plan and goes to a restaurant..on the dinner table,our first order mostly is to be a bowl of "vinegar onions"with dinner meal..is this and't true???definately we demand a bowl of pickled onions at the place of salad plate

Ingredients

  1. 5-6 to 7-8Spring onions/very small sized onions
  2. 1 cupWhite vinegar
  3. 1 tbspSalt
  4. 1 sliceBoiled beetroot
  5. 2 tbspRose water

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and wash the onions and remove the scallion part and root part of the spring onions

  2. 2

    Give cross cut in the half and and't to divide the onion in 4 pieces

  3. 3

    Take a big bowl and mix salt in vinegar and add a slice of boiled beet. Dip the onion pieces in to vinegar-salt mixture

    Let it to sit for 1/2 an hour to absorb the vinegar-salt into the onions.add rose water and give a nice mix..A beautiful pinkish colour will arise

    Your pickled onions are done

    Serve with dal makhni, mushroom masala, spinach gravy with rice or watever u like

    Consume with in 2 days and can add more onions in the same vinegar-salt mixture and keep in fridge in air tight glass container

    This is a doubling treat of yo'r table

  9. 9

    😜'have added the "rose water"to defuse the odour smell of onions..can skipped
