Gather the ingredients.

Set the oven rack to the upper-middle position.

Preheat the oven to 425F.

Set on a rack in a baking pan.

NOTE: I set a parchment paper for an easy cleanup of the pan

Pat dry the wings with a paper towel WELL.

Place the wings in a large mixing bowl.

Sprinkle over baking powder, salt, garlic and black pepper.

Use your hands to toss well and coat with seasoning evenly.

Place the wings skin side up on the rack in a single layer.

Bake the wings for 20-25 minutes, and flip them over.

Continue to bake for 15-20 mins or until crispy and browned.

Transfer the wings onto a large heat resistant mixing bowl.

Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

Pour the sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly. Serve

NOTE: This is the one I used for this recipe.

Use baking powder to make the wings crispy without the original buffalo wings' preparation, which is deep frying.
