Ingredients

  1. 113 gramsMargarine
  2. 150 gramssugar(you may reduce)
  3. 1 Teaspoonvanilla essence
  4. 2eggs
  5. 260 gramsFlour
  6. 1 Teaspoonbaking powder
  7. 1/2 Teaspoonbaking soda
  8. 1 pinchsalt
  9. 240 mlbutter milk
  10. cinnamon sugar👇
  11. 50 gramssugar(you can reduce).You can also use brown sugar
  12. 1 1/2 teaspooncinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Pre heat oven to 180 degrees

    Prepare your baking tin(butter and flour your baking tin)

  3. 3

    Using an electric beater,whisk or mwiko,cream your margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add your vanilla essence and eggs.Mix well.

    Add your flour which has been mixed with the baking powder,baking soda and salt.Mix alternating with the butter milk.

    Get your baking tin,pour half the mixture into it,prepare a bed of cinnamon sugar by laying cinnamon sugar at the centre and spread well.Pour the remaining batter on top and spread well.

    Using a bread knife or skewer swirl it around the cake batter to creat a swirling effect

    Tap the tin on the kitchen counter or table.

    Bake for 50 -60 minutes.Cool for 30 minutes,Your cake is now ready to be served
