Ingredients

  1. 4onions cut into 1.5 cm rings
  2. 1/4 cupflour
  3. 2 tablespoonsspices of choice
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. Enough milk
  6. Bread crumbs
  7. 1egg
  8. 1 tspBaking powder

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the onions into the desired rings.

    Mix the flour with spices and salt. Make a well and pour enough milk and egg. Add baking powder. Mix thoroughly. Batter consistency should be thick enough to coat the rings well.

    Dunk the onion rings in plain flour, shake to remove excess flour and dip in the batter. Coat well and dunk it in the breadcrumbs and coat.

    Fry them in hot oil till brown and crunchy. Enjoy with some ketchup and mayo.
