I'm trying to come up with different teriyaki sauce recipesWhen you use a lot of katakuriko, the burdock root pieces tend to stick to each other, but they'll separate after you add the sauce. Recipe by meg526
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the burdock root well, and shave into relatively large and thick pieces (If you don't like the skin, peel it off).
- 2
Strain the excess water from Step 1, and coat with the katakuriko. It's easier if you put in a plastic bag and shake it.
- 3
While you are straining the burdock root, mix all the ○ ingredients to make the sauce, and set aside.
- 4
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, and stir-fry Step 2 for 1 - 2 minutes.
- 5
Swirl in the sauce from Step 3, mix in the roasted sesame seeds, and it's done.
