A good source of starch. Either for breakfast or snack.
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl, add sieved flour, sugar, baking powder, Margarine and cardamom /rosemary and rub in all the dry ingredients
- 2
Later add the egg and milk and knead to a soft dough.

Spread on a clean surface using a rolling pin and cut to desired shape and sizes.
- 4
In another pan heat oil and fry them until lightly golden brown.
- 5
Ready to be served as breakfast or snack.

I was given loads of sweet potatoes, so I adapted a cookie recipe to incorporate them.Baking time may vary on your oven so adjust accordingly. You can either add 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds into the mixture when preparing the dough, or scatter them on the dough before baking. You can use margarine for this recipe, but butter is best.
