Ingredients

  1. 100 gmsmilk
  2. 10 gmsyeast
  3. 200 gmsflour
  4. 30 gmsblueband
  5. 20 gmssugar
  6. 1 pinchsalt
  7. 100 gmssultanas
  8. 20 gmscashews
  9. 30 gmslemon peel (candied)
  10. 10 gmsapricot jam
  11. Lemon fondant (icing sugar and few drops of lemon)
  12. 20 gramsalmonds,peanuts,cashews roughly chopped

Cooking Instructions

    Sift the flour on a work table and make a well

    Cream sugar butter and salt and rest of ingredients minus apricot jam and 20gms nuts

  3. 3

    Place the the above creamed mixture in the middle of the well Together with the milk and the yeast

  4. 4

    Knead into a dough and form into a ball and let double in size

  5. 5

    Cut across doubled dough and bake to a golden brown at 220 for around 20mins

  6. 6

    Glaze with apricot jam while still warm then add warm fondant on top

  7. 7

    Sprinkle nuts and let cool

  8. 8

    Serve it to the multitudes
