i love beans...i can eat them whole.week.without getting bored..

now.i.learnt a trick to keep off the "gas".. i soak them.for 24hrs... changing and rinsing them after every 6hrs...
then boil them..they actually take a shorter time to cook unlike beans that arent soaked first..
try this amazing recipe and let me.know how it goes

Ingredients

4 to 5 servings
  1. 3 cupsboiled beans
  2. 2diced carrots
  3. 2tomatoes diced
  4. 1large onion
  5. 5 clovesgarlic
  6. 1 piecegrated ginger
  7. dhania
  8. hoho
  9. for spices i use chibundiro or curry powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a pan fry the onions..

  2. 2

    Add in the garlic and ginger..cook.until golden brown..

  3. 3

    Add in your carrots and tomatoes

  4. 4

    Cover and let them cook properly untill the tomatoes are properly done

  5. 5

    Add the spices..

  6. 6

    Add salt and coom for a few minutes

  7. 7

    Add in your beans and let them simmer.for 4to 5 mins

  8. 8

    Keep tirni g to avaoid burning

  9. 9

    Add in 2 cups of water.

  10. 10

    Cook untill the soup gets thick..check salt and adjust if need be...

  11. 11

    Switch off the heat garnish with the hohos amd dhania..serve hot with rice..chapati or even with veges like i do
