Spaghetti and sauce with sausages

Ingredients

  1. 300 gspaghetti
  2. 5sausages deep fried and chopped
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoonmargarine
  4. 4 tablespoonoil
  5. 2large onions
  6. 5tomatoes
  7. 3 tablespoontomato paste
  8. 5 clovesgarlic
  9. 1 pcginger
  10. 3chillies(optional)
  11. 2green bell pepper
  12. 1 bunchcoriander
  13. 1tspoon cumin
  14. 1tspoon basil
  15. 1tspoon black pepper
  16. 1tspoon Garam masala
  17. 1 tablespoonsugar

Cooking Instructions

    In a large pot, place water, add salt and 2tablespoon of oil and bring to boil

    Add in the spaghetti and cook for about 6-10min

  3. 3

    Take off heat and drain excess water.... Run through cold water (this ensures they don't stick together) add in the margarine and mix thoroughly

  4. 4

    For the sauce... Chop all the veggies roughly except onions... In a hot pan add the 2tablespoon of oil, add the chopped onions till they sweat

    In a blender add the remaining ingredients except for the coriander and spices... Blend till to a smooth puree...

    Add in the puree in the pan and stir.... Followed by the spices and tablespoon of sugar... Cook for about 6-8min on medium

  7. 7

    Add the tomato paste and stir till it is completely mixed... Add in the chopped sausages and cook for another 5-7min

  8. 8

    Add your chopped coriander and remove off heat

  9. 9

    Serve with the spaghetti
