2 pax
  1. 1medium size onion chopped
  2. 1large tomato peeled and chopped
  3. 2 clovesgarlic crushed
  4. 7medium potatoes peeled, cut into chips and salted
  5. 1/4 teaspoontumeric powder
  6. Juice of half lemon or 1 tablespoon brown vinegar
  7. Green chillies chopped or crushed
  8. Dania chopped for garnish
  9. Oil for frying
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1 teaspoontomato paste

Cooking Instructions

20 min
  1. 1

Prepare all ingredients. And start by fry in the chips

  2. 2

Simultaneously, in another pan, fry the onions, garlic and chillies on medium heat.

  3. 3

After few min when onion is golden add the tomatoes and cook till soft. Then add tomato paste

  4. 4

Add the tumeric and lemon juice. If too thick add some water. Fry the chips slightly dry to prevent from smashing when mixing in the masala base.

  5. 5

Mix all ingredients well for 30 seconds on very low heat.

  6. 6

Switch off fire and garnish with chopped Dania.

  7. 7

Serve hot. I prefer with a side of sausage and mayonaise. But goes well with coleslaw too.
