Lui Gideon @LVanderbilt
This kitchen hack can save you some money
Cooking Instructions
- 1
I bought Broadways bread at shops because of its texture best in making Breadcrumbs
- 2
Heat your normal chapati pan into high heat if you have no bread toaster, if you had a toaster it could work faster, now after the pan is hot place the bread Slices and let them brown and harden
- 3
Get a Rollin pin and a chopping board
- 4
After the slices are browned begin crushing the slices using a rolling pin on the board, its a messy affair but worth it
- 5
Make sure you get fine particles of your breadcrumbs and store in an airtight container for future use,no need to buy breadcrumbs if you can make some, happy cooking

Bright Yellow Turmeric Udon Noodles
If there's turmeric rice, turmeric udon should work too! And that's how I came up with this The room will be filled with the smell of turmeric while you're making this, so you are forewarned. It's pretty hard work from the 2nd resting period onwards, so I recommend passing it on to a partner-in-crime.I made my kneading board and rolling pin using materials that cost me about 700 yen to buy from the local hardware store. The amount of salt water needed varies depending on the season, temperature and humidity, so make more than you'll need and mix it in while watching the texture. The amount indicated in this recipe is about right for early to mid summer. Recipe by Ottoriimu

California Farm Coconut Puff Pastry Filo Dough
Some fresh pastry dough ingredients like butter, milk and eggs dont freeze well or long, but I like to make an large batch of puff pastry dough and keep the extra in the freezer. So I use water and solid frozen coconut oil instead, rasped or grated. The weight of the ingredients and the preparation method has to be accurate. Digital Kitchen scales now have setting for grams. ( kitchen scales are under ten dollars at wallmart or on amazon). This recipe has both grams and ounces.

You can make small batches of this pasta and use it for minestrone soup. The consistency of the dough will change by temperature, humidity, season or even day by day, so adjust accordingly. Puff Pastry
This originally started with me wanting to make arlettes and palmiers but not really being motivated to buy puff pastry from the store. I got a day off work and decided to give it a try. It turns out to be a lot of fun to do and you get a much better pastry than the store bought one.You definitely need a french rolling pin for working the butter. Whether or not you need a pastry scrape depends on how hot your kitchen is. It's been a chilli winter for me so I didn't actually use mine.Puffy pastry is best used the day you make it but you can keep it in a Tupperware container for a few days in the fridge.
