Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsflour
  2. 1/3 cupsugar
  3. 1 pinchsalt
  4. 1 tspVanilla flavor
  5. 21/2 tbspyeast
  6. 2egg yolks
  7. 2 cupsWarm water
  8. Veg. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl, add warm water, sugar, yeast, 1/3 cup of flour & stir using a whisk. Let sit until tiny bubbles start to appear on the surface.

    Add yolks, vanilla, stir & add in the remaining flour & salt. Mix very well. The dough will be sticky. Place on a flour working surface. Sprinkle 2tbsp of flour & knead until its elastic & less sticky.

    Grease a bowl & put the dough in it. Rub a bit of oil on the dough surface to keep from drying.cover & Allow to rise for 1 hr in a warm place

    When its doubled, punch out the air in it but don't knead. Place on a floured surface. Use your hand to flatten out. Cut out using a cup or anything with a circle shape. Cover & allow to rise for 20mins

  5. 5

    Fry in medium hot oil on low heat. This is the result.
