Korean Style Chicken Wings Korean Style Chicken Wings
When I visited South Korea I had some interesting food. The blood clot soup was quite good if you can get past the blood clots. I also had Korean chicken and found the dish quite tasty and unique. I first made the sauce traditionally with Gochujang which gives it a funky fermented flavor. I then substituted sriracha sauce for the Gochujang and loved the sauce. fenway -

#goldenapron #week20 #nonindian Those who are fond of Fried Chicken , common it's time to taste this Korean Fried chicken , a dish that takes fried chicken to another level. Unlike the thickly batter - coated American Fried chicken which we are used to , this Korean Fried chicken is super crispy , crunchy as it is fried twice to ensure the moisture of the chicken is intact , then the fried chicken is coated in flavour ful sauces to just addict our tongues to it's unmatchable taste. South Korea ‘s most famous street food is now here . Of course , Monsoon calls something spicy , crunchy . So why not something Non- Indian at the comfort of our home ! Swathi Joshnaa Sathish -
Pork, Korean bulgoki style Pork, Korean bulgoki style
My wife doesn't like spicy like I do, so I am taking a Korean beef dish, and slightly modifying it for pork, and rice bowl. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. If you want a grilled flavor, with no sauce, grill the pork after marinating, and serve. But for the added sauce and veggie option, follow this recipe. Fo Fa -
Korean Fried Chicken Korean Fried Chicken
I've eaten this so many times, it's possibly my favourite food. Here's my interpretation after eating and cooking several different versions. I prefer a basic raw sauce, but I tried a cooked one which is great as well and slightly more acidic due to ketchup. I included both recipes. RiceCake -

Oven Fried Chicken Karaage Oven Fried Chicken Karaage
The seasoning mixture is based on a recipe my mother taught me.By putting small cuts into the chicken at Step 1, the flavor penetrates it easier and the meat becomes more tender! If you don't have any garlic soy sauce, you can make it on the spot as detailed in Step 2 by combining regular soy sauce with garlic. The chicken pieces may look a bit floury when done, but that's ok. Make Your Own Okonomiyaki Sauce Make Your Own Okonomiyaki Sauce
This is an improved variation of my flat mate's recipe. Thanks!Japanese ingredients are expensive when living abroad, so this kind of knowledge is helpful for you. These ingredients used are available anywhere, so you can use this okonomiyaki sauce as much as you like, without being sparing. If you are okay with the smell of the oyster sauce, omit the BBQ sauce and use a 1:1:1 ratio of the other ingredients.I prefer a ratio of 2:1:1:1.The oyster sauce is optional. The others are the basic components of okonomiyaki sauce. Recipe by Shasin shokunin cookpad.japan -

Easy Chicken Nanban with Sushi Vinegar and Tartar Sauce Easy Chicken Nanban with Sushi Vinegar and Tartar Sauce
It takes some time and effort to make sweet vinegar sauce and tartar sauce from scratch. So I made this dish using store-bought sweet vinegar sauce and tartar sauce.Adding the marinated onion into the store-bought tartar sauce makes it more voluminous and gives it an extra crunchy texture. The marinated onion also makes this dish taste better, so please give it a try.I also added the milk to make the sauce thinner so that it coats the chicken well. Recipe by KaHal cookpad.japan -
Chicken Nanban with Sushi Vinegar Chicken Nanban with Sushi Vinegar
Sushi vinegar is useful when making sushi but I can't use up a bottle just by using it for that so I decided to try using it in other food. When frying the chicken, be careful not to let the oil get too hot. It needs to cook all the way through without burning the outside! This dish tastes great with heaps of tartar sauce. For 4 servings. Recipe by Shunnkamama cookpad.japan
