Ingredients

  1. 500grm, khoya
  2. 1cup,sugar
  3. 1cup, desiccated coconut
  4. 1/2cup, milk powder
  5. 2-3,cardamom (seeds)
  6. 1/2cup,ghee (clarified butter)
  7. Mix nuts, as you like

Cooking Instructions

    Heat up the ghee in a heavy bottom pan, add cardamom seeds and cook for 30 seconds then add crushed Khoya, sugar, milk powder and cook in simmer.

    Keep the flame simmer until the mixture comes out of the pan.

    Then add desiccated coconut and cook again for 3 to 4 minutes.

    Once mixture gets thick transfer the greased square pan. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on the top. Give a press.

    Let it cool completely. Slice the burfi as small squares. Chew coconut Khoya burfi is ready.
