Ingredients

  1. 1 cupmoong dal (yellow)
  2. 1 piecesginger(grated)
  3. 1 cupcoriander leaves (chopped)
  4. 2green chillies(chopped)
  5. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder
  6. 1/4 teaspoonhing
  7. 1/4 teaspoonajwain seeds
  8. 4-5 piecesblack pepper
  9. as per tasteSalt
  10. as requiredOil for fry

Cooking Instructions

    Take a bowl add dal and 2 to 3 cups water keep aside for 1 hour.

    After 1 hour drain out all water and transfer into a blender jar and blend dal until Grind coarsely.

    Transfer this paste in to a bowl add coriander leaves, ginger,green chill,red chilli,hing,salt,ajmain and black pepper mix proper.

    Heat oil in a pan when it is hot drop bit sized portions of the moong dal mixture to the hot oil.Do not disturb them till they come up.

    Keep stirring and fry on a medium flame.

    When they are golden and crisp remove them

  7. 7

    And serve with sweet chutney or green chutney.
