In a bowl, mix all the above ingredients and cover bowl with cling film
•Refrigerate dough overnight (the dough is easier to handle when refrigerated overnight) - 2
Turn out the dough onto a floured surface and roll using a rolling pin until *1inch* thick
•Cut out rolled dough with a doughnut cutter and place doughnuts on a tray/baking sheet - 3
Heat oil in a large pan and deep-fry doughnuts turning once/twice or until puffed and golden brown
•Transfer to a tray lined with paper towel to drain oil completely
