  1. 1 1/2 cupsemolina (rava/sooji)
  2. 1 cupsour curd
  3. 1 tsp fruit eno
  4. as neededwater
  5. to tastesalt
  6. 1 tspcooking oil

Cooking Instructions

    Take rava and curd in a mixture bowl. Mix it well with the help of whisker.

    Cover the bowl with lid and rest the batter for at least 15-20 mins.

    If the batter has thick consistancy then add some water into it and add salt. Mix it well.

    Add eno into the batter. Give a gentle mix.

    Pour the batter immediately onto greased idli plate.

  6. 6

    Steam them on medium flame for 15 minutes or till the idli are cooked completely.

    Finally, serve soft sooji idli or plain rava idli along with chutney and sambar.
