  1. 9medium-sized potatoes
  2. 2 glassesminji (green peas)
  3. 2 cupsboiled maize
  4. 2 bunchespumpkin leaves
  5. 1/4Cabbage chopped
  6. 3large onions
  7. 4garlic cloves
  8. cooking oil
  9. Pepper
  10. salt and any preferred spices

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and boil your potatoes along side the green peas until soft

    Boil the maize until soft

  3. 3

    Chop the pumpkin leaves and boil them

  4. 4

    Once the potatoes, green peas, maize and pumpkin leaves are all boiled and ready, mash the potatoes to form a mixture as below.

    Chop your onion and garlic cloves and, fry them in a sufuria until they brown

  6. 6

    Add salt and pepper

  7. 7

    Add the potato-maize-peas and pumpkin leaves mixture in the onions, mix well and let it cook for 2 minutes

    Steam your cabbage

  9. 9

    Serve with avocado/kachumbari and juice as below.
