Butter-Soy Sauce Stir-fry with Snow Peas and Shiitake

cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp
My mum has been making this recipe for ages.
If you don't like raw snow peas, blanch in salted hot water and then shock with cold water before stir-frying. Recipe by Daimajo
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Peel the strings from the snow peas. Thickly slice the shiitake mushrooms (about 5 mm thick).
- 2
You could remove the raw taste of snow peas by boiling water in a saucepan over high heat with a pinch of salt and blanch the snow peas for 30-60 seconds. Then drain and shock the peas in cold water. Drain again and then set aside.
- 3
Melt the butter in the frying pan, stir-fry Step 1. Once vegetables soften, add soy sauce. Sprinkle with umami seasoning to taste.
