Soft & Crispy, Made with Jam Okara Scones

I love scones. I make them using various ingredients.
The other day I came across a recipe using strong flour, and it was delicious with a texture I hadn't had before. So I came up with this recipe using strong flour and okara in the dough.
In steps 3 and 4 mix the dough without kneading it (if you knead it, it won't be crispy after baking).
If using salted butter please reduce the amount of salt used.
If you cool them, when it's time to eat, warm them in a oven for a more delicious taste. Recipe by tearstar

- 8
For a less-sweet version, plain Okara Scones.. Increase the amount of okara uses to make it more healthy.

Dinnertime Okara Scones Dinnertime Okara Scones
I wanted to make simple scones that could be made easily and could be served with all kinds of dishes. I had some people try them, and even people who don't like okara liked these, so I uploaded the recipe. You can make these without a food processor. Put the butter in a bowl and mix until crumbly. If you overmix the scones won't be crispy and light, so please take note of that. Please adjust the amount of soy milk depending on how moist the okara you are using is. Just add enough to bring the dough together. Recipe by tearstar cookpad.japan -

Easy & Low-Cal Okara Scones Easy & Low-Cal Okara Scones
I'm addicted to okara scones which are popular at the moment. I tried making them many times, and wondered if I could make them more easily with pancake mix. They are delicious, but in a very different way to the ones I usually make, so I uploaded this recipe. These are crispy and fluffy.Pancake mix has the same number of calories as cake flour, around 370 kcal per 100 g. Because the pancake mix contains sugar (390 kcal per 100 g) and baking powder, you don't need to add any, which helps to keep the calorie count down. The texture will be different depending on what you use, but they are nice made with either cake flour or pancake mix. Recipe by Soraten mama cookpad.japan -

I adapted my plain sconesthrough several experiments, to come up with scones that could be eaten as-is. Start by adding a little soy milk, and add more if needed. Recipe by tearstar cookpad.japan -

It's 10-12 minutes in a toaster oven. You can also try mixing in some chocolate, fruit granola, or amanatto (sweetened adzuki beans)When I sprinkled some cinnamon on top of the dough with raisins, the scones baked up tasting like a dessert from Tohato. Fluffy Scones Fluffy Scones
I wanted to eat the scones and the clotted cream which I had in Afternoon Tea.You can mix the butter and flour with your hands, not with a food processor (about 3-5 minutes) If you don't have a small size egg, reduce the amount of milk a bit as the mixture becomes too soft. When cutting the shapes, cut gently so you don't crush the dough. If you can cut the sides cleanly, it will plump up well. When using heavy cream, reduce 10 g of butter. Recipe by AAlly cookpad.japan -
Diet-Friendly Okara & Yogurt Scones Diet-Friendly Okara & Yogurt Scones
I made this to be simple and low-calorie.Keep an eye on the scones while they're baking and adjust the cooking time accordingly. If using a toaster-oven, bake them for about 15 minutes.Once the surfaces have browned, break off a piece of one scone and if it comes off easily, it's done.I recommend enjoying these scones while they're still warm. 1 scone is about 90 calories.
