Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 200 gramsBread (strong) flour
  2. 50 gramsRye
  3. 5 gramsSalt
  4. 5 gramsHoney
  5. 160 gramsMilk or water
  6. 20 gramsUnsalted butter (cultured butter if possible)
  7. 3 gramsDry yeast
  8. 1For finishing, bread flour

Cooking Instructions

    Put in all ingredients except into the bread maker (put the yeast into its compartment). Press start.

    Remove the dough, divide into 4 portions, punch out the air. Rest for 15 minutes.

    Roll into ovals, fold the top and the bottom into the centre, place the rolls joint down on a baking sheet, and rest again.

    Sprinkle bread flour with a strainer. Make 3 slits on each. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 200ºC. Done!!

    I added dried fruits and walnuts and formed into spheres.

    I added nuts and raisins and shaped them into hearts.

    I baked this for 40 minutes at 180ºC. (Using a 10 cm cube bread tin) I am thinking of making a sandwich. What kind should I make??
