Sublime Pasta with Garlic, Bacon and Heavy Cream

I came up with this recipe when we suddenly had guests, and I had no idea what to serve!
I just grabbed these 3 ingredients from the fridge and they just loved this so much! Since then, this has been a family favorite!
The key is to make the sauce while the pasta is boiling. Then it'll just take a little more than 10 minutes until the dish is done. I am sure you will love it! Recipe by yumeko mama

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add 2 tablespoons of salt and pasta.
- 2
Prepare the ingredients as shown in the photo. Slice the garlic and dice the bacon into 1 cm. Heavy cream can be replaced with cheaper vegetable cream.
- 3
Heat plenty of olive oil in a skillet, and sauté the garlic and bacon.
- 4
The bacon becomes brown and crispy like this.
- 5
Pour in the cream all at once.
- 6
The cream will become bubbly.
- 7
Transfer the cooked pasta directly into the skillet from the pot. You don't have to drain well as you can make use of the salted cooking water as seasoning.
- 8
Turn off the heat and combine with the sauce. Serve with coarsely ground black pepper to taste.
- 9
Garnish with a bit of parsley, and it's perfect!

Easy Creamy Bacon, Asparagus, Tomato Pasta with Boursin (or Cream Cheese) Easy Creamy Bacon, Asparagus, Tomato Pasta with Boursin (or Cream Cheese)
Gournay (which is what Boursin is), Neufchatel, or other cream cheese type cheeses are a super easy way to make your pasta dish creamy with practically no effort. Just add a dab at the end of the cooking process, let the heat melt it, stir it in, and there you go.This was a fridge cleanout dinner using odds and ends I wanted to clear out before shopping - the last of the bacon, the last of a bunch of asparagus, some wilting parsley, and a third of a packet of Shallot & Chive Boursin - and it was tasty! You can start cooking the pasta and prep the sauce while that's going. I usually use the cold water start method, and the pasta is just about ready to go when the sauce is done, but if you do the traditional pasta boil, you can always turn the heat off the sauce when it's done until your pasta's ready. :) x -
