Fresh Whole Cranberry Sauce With Lime And Ginger

Marti Keef @cook_3599566
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Place water, sugar, syrup, zest and lime juice into a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil over high heat.
- 2
Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the sugar has dissolved, about 3 minutes.
- 3
Add cranberries and continue to simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4
Add ginger, mix well, and continue to simmer an additional 8 to 10 minutes, until most of the berries pop and the sauce reaches desired consistency.
- 5
Note that popped berries are sweeter then whole. Adjust the final cooking time to get the perfect amount of tanginess for your taste.
- 6
Leftover sauce can be used to dress turkey sandwiches, top pancakes, or made into delicious cranberry muffins.

Easy Cranberry Sauce Easy Cranberry Sauce
I prepared this for a Thanksgiving dinner. It will harden when cooled, so keep this in mind and stop simmering when it's just a bit softer than you'd like, then store in a glass container. If you're using it as a sauce, add a bit of water to the cranberry jam and heat in the microwave to make a warm sauce. Fresh Orange Cranberry Sauce Fresh Orange Cranberry Sauce
Inspired by Bob Belcher's (of the show Bob's Burgers) love of fresh cranberries; here's my favorite version. This is quick, easy, and endlessly customizable.Notes:•Less sugar will give you a tangier sauce. Add more for a sweet sauce.•You can use water instead of orange juice for a lighter orange taste.•Cooking time will vary based on whether your berries are fresh or frozen.•Vanilla extract also works really well. This recipe was handed down to me from my mother. I have no idea where she got it from. Since my husband is very traditional when it comes to Thanksgiving, this cranberry sauce fits the bill.Sherry Gary

Cranberry Sauce Cranberry Sauce
Just to mention Cranberry Sauce transport me to a very special and important holidays: Thanksgiving Dinner in United States, Christmas Dinner and New Year celebration around the world. A delicious sauce very versatile that adapts to any bittersweet recipe, excellent companion for turkey, chicken, spiral ham meats, as a dressing for salads, etc.Despite its name of "salsa" it can even be used as a marmalade. It is very easy to prepare and I hope you like it.
