Peel the apple and remove the core. Slice to 1 cm thick and saute until soft.

Add the butter and keep sauteing. When the apples are very soft, add the cinnamon sugar in and mix.
- 3
Turn the heat off, add the granulated sugar and stir together.
- 4
Roll 2 sheets of the defrosted puff pastry into a long rectangle. In the photo, the left one is rolled out.
- 5
Put the apples on the unrolled pastry. Leave a 1 cm edge around the pastry.
- 6
Cut the rolled out pastry puff with a mesh roller.
- 7
Cover the pastry on top of the apples, seal the edges by pressing down with a fork. Then brush the egg mixture on top.
- 8
Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven at 200ºC, then turn down to 180ºC and bake for 10 minutes. When it's done, spread jam immediately to make a glaze.
- 9
Cut and serve after the pie has cooled completely.

My mother taught me this recipe. This is perfect when you have leftover apples or when you want to make an easy snack.Make sure you preheat the oven to 200℃/400°F! Changing the oven temperature halfway through is also key! This filling makes a light apple pie. If you want to make an apple pie with plenty of filling, increase the amount. I often hear that this pie is light on the sweetness, so if you have a sweet tooth, increase the amount of sugar to your liking.(Recipe by azura) cookpad.japan -
Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry Easy Apple Pie with Frozen Puff Pastry
You may have seen a recipe like this a long time ago, but this is the apple pie my mother used to make when I was a child. Now it's what I like to make for my own family.Basically, it's foolproof, since you use frozen puff pastry. If I were to suggest anything, it would be to make sure the apple filling isn't watery, and not to put too much in or it will leak out. If it leaks out, it will burn and the pastry won't puff.
