Palak ka Parantha

Popeye loves spinach and I do too 💚
This simple and easy Parantha recipe makes for a perfect Breakfast or Lunch option. Do try it and if you like it, do drop me a Cooksnap 🙂
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Wash the spinach leaves well. Blanch the Spinach Leaves in hot water for 5 mins.
Drain in a colander, allow them to cool. Reserve the water for later use to knead dough or use to cook dals or curries. - 2
Add the cooled spinach leaves to a mixer jar, add the garlic, green chillies & salt and blend into a smooth puree.
- 3
In a mixing bowl, take the Whole Wheat Flour and Gram Flour. Add the cumin powder, finely chopped coriander leaves and 1 tsp oil.
- 4
Add the ready spinach puree little by little, add a little water if required and knead well to make a smooth, soft dough.
- 5
Cover and rest the dough in the refrigerator for 15-20 mins.
- 6
Now, heat a tava, make small balls of dough, roll out into circles and place on the tava to grill. Flip after a minute, grease with oil or ghee and cook on both sides until golden brown and done.
- 7
Serve topped with butter (I love to have them with white butter), Raita and Pickle on the side.
