Ingredients

  1. 5-6Bread slices
  2. 1 cupcurd
  3. 3-4 tspSemolina
  4. 1/4 cuprice flour
  5. 1finely chopped onion
  6. 1/2 cupfinely chopped capsicum
  7. 1green chilli finely chopped
  8. 1 teaspoonsalt
  9. 1 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  10. 1/2 teaspooncumin seeds
  11. 1/2 cupCoriander leaves
  12. as neededOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Take bread slices in a mixing bowl and crumble them into small pieces.

    Add curd, onion, capsicum, green chilli, semolina, rice flour, salt and pepper, cumin seeds and coriander leaves in it.

    Mix well and make a soft dough. Keep this mixture aside for ten minutes.

    Heat oil in a pan.

  5. 5

    Divide the mixture into equal portions to a lemon sized ball.

    Grease your palm with little oil. Take a ball and flatten them a bit.

  7. 7

    Make a small hole in the centre of the vadas.

  8. 8

    Gently slide tha vadas into hot oil.

  9. 9

    Flip off the vadsas after one minute. Fry it until light golden colour.

  10. 10

    Drain out on absorbent paper.

  11. 11

    Serve hot with tomato sauce or coconut or green chutney.
