Ingredients

  1. Rice grits
  2. Scotch bonnets
  3. Red bell pepper
  4. Onions
  5. Garlic
  6. Seasoning
  7. Pinchsalt
  8. Lucost beans or yajin daddawa
  9. Palm oil
  10. Veg. oil

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the rice grits, drain and keep aside. Chop the spinach, slice some onion, wash them together and keep aside.

    In a pot, pour water and put on a medium flame. Add in your grated scotch bonnets, red bell pepper and garlic. Add palm oil and a little veg. oil. Grate the remaining onion and add. Cover the pot and bring it to a boil.

    When it boils, add locust beans or yajin daddawa, seasoning, then the rice grits. Add salt to taste. Allow it to cook.

    When it's almost done, add in your chopped spinach and sliced onion. Simmer for 5mins on low flame.

    It's done. Serve!
