I'm sensitive to the cold; obviously I'm cold in the winter, but even in the summer I get cold from the breeze that comes out of air conditioners. It's said that ginger warms you up and that vinegar slows the rise of blood sugar, which is good for dieting. I combined these two ingredients and made this drink. It was surprisingly easy to drink. If you would prefer it a little sweeter, or with more ginger, go ahead and alter this recipe to your preferences. There are many kinds of vinegar available, but use whatever you like. Ginger In Honey For Ginger Tea Ginger In Honey For Ginger Tea
I've been making this for some time, but after seeing toshiebaba's COOKPAD diary entry (Japanese) about using black tea + ginger to combat viruses, I decided to post this recipe. It's really easy, and you can use it in the wintertime to rev up your metabolism. The honey layes and the ginger juice layers tend to separate, so mix it up before using. After a lot of juice has come out of the ginger, the liquid won't crystalize even if you put the preserved ginger in the refrigerator, and it keeps quite well I think. In the summertime, if you are worried about spoilage, take the ginger out and bring the liquid to a boil before storing. Recipe by Soraten mama cookpad.japan -

Honestly, I didn't plan to start with holiday recipes so soon, but when you go outside and see everything lit up, you can already feel that festive atmosphere reminding us that Christmas (for better or worse) is just around the corner. And what about the time when supermarkets start stocking up on nougats, shortbreads, and other sweets of the season? Doesn't it seem like they start earlier every year? It's similar to what happens with the Christmas lottery...Well, since we have to adapt to everything and going against the tide usually doesn't yield good results, I hereby declare the holiday season open on the blog. This includes today's recipe, lemon and orange shortbreads, truffles, and some other surprises that I'll tell you about later.Today's cookies can be made any time of the year, but it seems that we associate ginger in sweets more with Christmas, especially in Central and Northern European countries. There, at the markets set up during this time, you can easily find cookies like these, although never as good as freshly baked ones. They really are delicious. Are you up for making them?thesweetchocolatecookie.blogspot.com.es

Honey Ginger Syrup (Ginger Tea) Honey Ginger Syrup (Ginger Tea)
Up until recently, I had just been soaking ginger in honey, but my aunt taught me how to make ginger syrup. The amount of sugar used to make the candied ginger should be 20% the weight of the original amount of ginger used when making syrup.Adding 1 teaspoon lemon juice to the syrup makes it taste delicious (for ginger tea and sweets), but since the syrup can also be used for cooking, I decided that it's best to leave it out.Even after 1 day of soaking the ginger will produce a lot of extract, but don't be impatient! Allow the ginger to slowly soak for 5 days. It will result in a mildly spicy delicious syrup. While soaking in Step 3, give the jar a shake from time to time to dissolve the honey. In Step 5, remove the scum when simmering.
