I love to mix various ingredients into cream cheese, and spread it on bread!
This is a recipe I created when thinking of how to consume leftover mixed nuts.

The picture is the blueberry jam version.
Please use any kind of nuts!
You can use snacking nuts, roasted nuts, plain nuts...
Mix to your liking, adjust the amounts to your liking! I make everything a little big because I like a crunchy texture! Recipe by Stylish Mama

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 sliceSliced bread
  2. 1Banana (roughly mashed)
  3. 2pieces Cream cheese (room temperature)
  4. 1 tbspJam of your choice
  5. 30 gramsMixed nuts (for snacking, roughly chopped)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Bring the cream cheese to room temperature to soften. Roughly chop the nuts and mash the banana with a fork.

  2. 2

Mix the cream cheese, banana, nuts, and jam in a bowl. If you're making this during the summer, it's delicious if you let it chill in the refrigerator for a bit.

  3. 3

This is a toasted version! When you get a craving for bread that's crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, use this spread on toast!

  4. 4

Regular version. Those times when you want it moist and chewy, top the bread with the spread without toasting.
