  1. 1 1/2 blockTofu
  2. 150 gramsGround meat
  3. 1/2Finely chopped Japanese leek
  4. 1 tbsp★ Finely chopped garlic
  5. 1 tbsp★ Finely chopped ginger
  6. 2 tspDoubanjiang
  7. 1 tbsp★ Tianmianjiang
  8. 1 tbsp☆ Sake
  9. 1 tbspSoy sauce
  10. 200 mlWater
  11. 2 tsp☆ Chinese soup stock
  12. 1Sansho pepper powder
  13. 1and 1/2 tablespoons Katakuriko
  14. 1 tbspWater
  15. 2 tbspOil
  16. 1 tspSesame oil
  17. 2Green onions or scallions

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Stir fry the ingredients marked with ★ and add the ground beef. When the meat changes color, add the ingredients marked with ☆ and the boiled tofu.

    Add the finely chopped Japanese leek to Step 1. Stir in the katakuriko slurry and turn off the heat. Add the sansho pepper powder and sesame oil.

    Transfer to a serving plate and scatter some chopped green onions on top.
