Ingredients

  1. 500 gmixed samp & beans
  2. Water to boil
  3. Salt
  4. 1 tbspDry mixed herbs spice
  5. 1 tbspgarlic & herb spice (from Gorima's Spice store)
  6. 1 tbspflavoured spice (from Gorima’s Spice)
  7. 1 tbspturmeric spice
  8. 1 tbspbutter chicken dry mix (from Gorima's Spice store)
  9. 1chopped medium onion
  10. 1chopped medium green pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Soak samp & beans overnight to remove bacteria from the samp. Rinse thoroughly & boil. The soaking process also make it cook faster. Boil for 2-3 hours, add salt & water gradually as it boils. When stirring use wooden spoon so samp doesn't burn at the bottom of the pot.

    The best samp is made with Holsum. It’s still very much available in your local grocery store

    Fry your chopped onion & green peppers then add your spices. fry on medium heat.

    Mix together very well.

    Done. Delicious!

    You can go a little further & add coffee creamer of your choice. Enjoy!!!
