Ingredients

  1. 2medium sized mackerel fish
  2. Spices (all spices, rosemary,garlic and ginger,
  3. 1small Onion
  4. Oil for frying
  5. 1/2 cupflour

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the fish with vinegar and fry it using a kitchen towel,to make sure no excess water.

    Mix all your spices and crush them using the blender or mortar and pestle.

  3. 3

    Rub the fish with the spices and seasoning you crush, add 2spoon of soy sauce too, mix the fish well, and cover it to let marinade in the refrigerator overnight.

    Heat oil on a medium high heat and add the fish carefully, then you add 2 part of the onion, and sprinkle some flour, let fry until Golden brown, please don't omit this stage believe me I will love the outcome 👌

    Remove the onions from the oil when it's golden brown, it can be used as a flavour to your stew, just add it to your tomatoes when blending.

    Your fish is ready for enjoyment 😋😋.
    I used mine to cook macaroni jolop which I would share with you soon😍

    NOTE: adding onions while frying the fish is to remove the fish smell and give it a sweet aroma❤️
    2- I used flour to avoid the fish from sticking to the pan or pot, and also to avoid breaking apart while turning.
