Grilled Squid With Garlic Butter and Soy Sauce

cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp
I recreated a dish I had eaten a long time ago.
I wrote "1 serving" in the recipe but it's a modest amount.
Adjust the amount of seasoning according to how much squid you have. Recipe by Hokkori-no
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Gut the squid, wash, and cut into 1 cm pieces. Slice the shiso leaf into thin strips.
- 2
Coat a frying pan with olive oil. Add the grated garlic and squid, and grill.
- 3
Once the squid is cooked through, add the butter and soy sauce and quickly stir-fry. Stop the heat, add the shiso leaf from Step 1 and mix together. Serve on the plate.

Chicken Cooked in Garlic, Butter, and Soy Sauce
I made my husband's dinner using 1 chicken thigh left in the fridge. The time it takes to brown the chicken is not included in the 10 minute cooking time To simmer, use a small frying pan, so that the chicken fits perfectly. When making double the amount of chicken, use double the amount of sauce, and use a frying pan large enough so that 2 chicken thighs will fit. This time, I used store-bought grated garlic Please adjust the amount of garlic to taste. Recipe by Totono mama chan

Octopus with Garlic, Butter and Ponzu Sauce
My mother usually gives me vegetables and fruits, but this time, she gave me boiled octopus. I'm so obsessed with butter and ponzu sauce these days that I cooked the octopus with it.I used garlic powder to make this recipe simple, but you could also use chopped or tubed garlic. In that case, add butter and stir-fry over low heat until it releases a nice aroma before adding the octopus. For about 3 servings. Recipe by Takuchi

Steamed Chinese Cabbage and Scallops with Garlic Butter Soy Sauce
I was looking for a new way to eat Chinese cabbage. That's when I combined it with scallops, which actually tasted great!I used fresh scallops. You only need to steam them for a short time. Since the Chinese cabbages release a lot of moisture, I think you'd feel this dish is lightly flavored. If this is the case, try adding some soy sauce to suit your taste. Recipe by HAL.M

Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce

Sauteed Beef in Garlic Butter Soy Sauce
My husband loved it when I made steak flavored with garlic, butter, and soy sauce, so I started making a before-payday version using inexpensive thinly cut meat. This is great with shimeji mushrooms or spinach. I buy beef when it's on sale, and make this recipe when I don't have time. I used brisket offcuts this time, but I think it's good made with other cuts of beef. It's best to use a cut with some fat. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by Takuchi

Fish Fillet with Lime & Garlic Butter Sauce
Yes, Lime. Not lemon but LIME.I don't have lemons but I only have a bunch of limes almost going to waste if I won't use them very soon... so.I actually have more left so I made lime juice out of them. So nice for afternoon refreshments. In this recipe, I used the Spanish Mackarel, or Tanigue in Filipino, sliced crosswise which is the most common way the tanigue is sold in the market.

A Chef's Recipe for Sweet Onion "Steak" With Garlic Butter Soy Sauce
I'm recording this here so I don't forget the recipe.Try not to touch the onions as they're cooking! They'll still taste good even if they break, but it's best if they don't. Coating them in a bit of katakuriko may help keep them from falling apart so easily! Recipe by Silvy1978

Chicken Thigh Sauté with Nuts, Garlic, Butter, & Soy Sauce
I added peanuts because they help prevent anemia, rejuvenate blood flow, and lower cholesterol. This sauce can be used with chicken or fish. This has been a standard all-purpose sauce in our home for more than 10 years.Since chicken thighs have a lot of grease, you don't need to use oil in the frying pan if you have a Teflon type non-stick pan. This will help the surfaces become nice and crispy. At the end, you can adjust the flavors until it becomes the taste you want. For about 2 servings. Recipe by soyumina

Tender Squid and Green Onions with Vinegar Miso Sauce
I love cold seafood and vegetables with vinegared miso. I also make it with squid or cured horse mackerel. You can make this with the miso you already have in stock.I made it with a country-style miso that we received as a gift. The ingredients vary a little depending on how salty the miso is. Don't add all the seasoning ingredients at once; taste as you add them for the best results. Recipe by -ringo-

Pan-Fried Cod with Butter Soy Sauce
I love this combination of flavors for all kinds of seafood, including squid. My mother used to make this for me when I was growing up.Make sure to pan fry it until golden brown, then flip over.Cod falls apart easily when cooked, so use a spatula. If the fish is very thick, put a lid on the pan to make sure it cooks through. You can use any kind of fish you like, but if you use salted salmon or other salty fish, reduce the amount of soy sauce. For 2 servings. Recipe by Chiton

Garlic Soy Sauce
As you only have the aroma instead of eating the actual garlic, the smell doesn't linger as long and you don't have garlicky breath afterward.I wrote "100 ml or more" for the amount of soy sauce, because you first use enough soy sauce to just cover the garlic cloves. Afterward, you can add as much soy sauce as you like. The aroma is best if you use it up within one week. The garlic changes colour, so take them out after about 3 days. Recipe by Yukoai_yukoi

Asparagus in Butter and Soy Sauce
I made a side dish for breakfast with asparagus, which was on sale.If you have a non-stick pan, add butter before switching on the heat. If you are using an iron cast pan, add a little oil to the heated pan, add the asparagus and then the butter. This will prevent burning. For 2 servings. Recipe by Karupinetto

Stir-Fried Pork and Mushroom with Butter and Soy Sauce
Last time, I made this dish with minced pork, so here is the sliced pork version. Pork and Shiso Leaves Stir-Fried with Butter and Soy Sauce
I had a ton of shiso leaves around, so I wanted to use them up!You can add butter at the start too.You can put in as much shiso as you like. The version in the photo has 30 shiso leaves in the stir-fry plus more for garnish, and I wanted to add even more!To be honest, it tastes good even without the pork. Recipe by guemi
