I was searching some new dates recipie for ramdan and found a very unique and good recipie on Utube so tried and made it before Ramzan ,it turned out so good and its no sugar,no bake no flour .When @Cookpad gave task of khajoor creation I think it's perfect. It can be served as sweet treat after breaking fast, night time cravings 😋,for iftar party or Eid. Beautiful and heartfelthandmade gift for family and friends for iftar and also Eid. Ingredients

  1. 200 gmsdates/I used soft Iranian dates can use any soft ones
  2. 150 gmspeanuts non roasted
  3. 30 gmssesame /till
  4. 70 gmswhite chocolate
  5. 70 gmsdark chocolate
  6. 1/3 tspoil +1/3 tsp oil (used twice)

Cooking Instructions

    Wash dates and rinse them in water for 15 mins.

    Dry roast peanuts for few mins on low flame till colour changes slightly and they are roasted well.

    Take them out in a plate or bowl and cool a bit then remove their skin (chilka)completely.

    Now dry roast sesame seeds till light brown and keep aside

    Now, put roasted peanuts in food processor or blender and grind well. Let it remain in it for next step.

    Take out dates from water and dry them a bit, than take out its seeds.Cut dates in big chunks and put them in food processor/blender with peanuts and grind till both are well combined and forms a mixture, it's like a dough.

    Take out on a surface to roll in a thick form /log.Than Cut in two pieces.

    Roll each into cylindrical logs of equal size.

    Now spread roasted sesame /till on the board and roll the dates log on it,keep rolling till they are well coated from all sides with sesame seeds.

    If shape is not perfect don't worry You can adjust shape easily by rolling and shaping them.

    Than with any round rod shape item like wodden rod etc make depression but carefully not very deep, I used my steel spoon back.

    Than widen this cavity carefully with finger for chocolate filling.

    Now prepare its filling:
    Cut chunks of dark milk chocolate and melt in microwave,mix and add 1/3tsp oil and mix well.Than melt white chocolate and mix than add 1/3tsp oil and mix well.

    Pour white in one log and dark in other log cavity.

    Fill remaining chocolates in icing bag and cut small hole than make lines on brown chocolate,than with a stick make design. On white use dark chocolate to decorate.You have to be fast as chocolate gets harder quickly. I made it first time and my brown one got semi hard and it didn't come out so well.

    Let them set in fridge to get firm,than cut them in pieces.

    They turned out so delicious and looked beautiful. Can be given as a homemade gift 🎁. Do try in Ramadan and for Eid table. It's a healthy and nutricious sweet.

    The flavour of roasted peanuts and sesame seeds is soo good.
