Cool and Fresh Cool and Fresh
On a hot summer day me and my sister was thinking of whipping up a cold batch of margaritas. This was probably out of desperation since we were both evaporating from the heat. So I came up with this excellent concoction. I love how the mint leaves and the cucumber brings so much freshness to the drink and the pineapple gives that tangy sour note. The honey just gives it that slightly smoky and earthy sweetness. The smoothie just is like a sunny side beach resort in your mouth. So please try it and tell me what you think. Enjoy! chef.serolf -
Summer Drink : Lychee Strawberry Fizz Summer Drink : Lychee Strawberry Fizz
This simple yet highly refreshing drink has been a great hit this summer! Lightly sweetened with strawberry syrup and the addition of whole lychees makes it such a fun drink! You can add lychee syrup if you’d like or lychee juice, but I didn’t do that because I wanted to keep the sugars at a minimum. It looks so pretty and adding some whole lychees takes this drink to the next level.I used fresh lychees but using canned will be just as great. 👍 Mish -
Avocado and Tomato Salad Avocado and Tomato Salad
Im overrun with avocados from our trees!!!!!! I love avocados but even I can’t eat this many!! I needed a salad to go with lasagna but I’m fresh out of lettuce. This is delicious and cold and cuts through the richness of the pasta. The avocado dressing this combo results in makes me think I need a straw instead of a fork. It makes me want to drink it 😆 SherryRandall: The Leftover Chronicles
