Cabbage and Pork Stir Fry with Ume Soy Sauce

I added some pork to a simple tossed side dish to turn it into a main dish.

My husband found this a little sour. Please adjust the amount of umeboshi paste and mentsuyu sauce while tasting. Tender cabbage tastes better if you cut it into big pieces. Add some sesame oil, as well as sesame seeds or shiso at the end to taste. For 2 servings. Recipe by commeline

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 100 gramsor as much (to taste) Thin sliced pork
  2. 1 dasheach Pre-seasoning: Sake, soy sauce
  3. 1/2Cabbage
  4. 1Sugar snap peas, onion etc.
  5. 2 largeUmeboshi
  6. 2 tbspMentsuyu
  7. 2 tbsp* Sake
  8. 1 cloveGarlic

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the cabbage into big pieces.

  2. 2

    Season the pork with sake and soy sauce.

  3. 3

    Mix the umeboshi (without the pits), mentsuyu sauce and sake together while tasting and adjusting.

    Stir fry the garlic and pork in a frying pan. Add the vegetables and continue stir-frying. Add the ume soy sauce at the end and mix.
