Cooking Instructions

Cut the bread in half.

Break the egg into a frying pan. Season with salt and pepper.

Mix the egg with chopsticks, to make large scrambled eggs.

It's better to make the sandwiches with scrambled eggs with large curds, rather than finely scrambled.

Slice the cucumber diagonally.

Toast the bread.
- 7
Spread the toast thinly with butter, then top with ham, egg, cucumber, ketchup and mayonnaise to finish.

This is a sandwich that I've always eaten at home since I was a kid. You can add the fillings in the order of lettuce, ham, egg as well if you like. That way is probably easier if you're only using 1 leaf of lettuce.1 If you're only using 1 egg, you can simply add it to a container when boiled and crush it up with a fork instead.2 It's fine to use just 1 lettuce leaf.3 You can use any kind of sliced loaf for these sandwiches.4 Please spread the margarine and mustard on 1 side of the bread only, and in that order.5 Feel free to slice the sandwich into 4 equal triangles instead. I am big on buying breads and bakery items from the clearance racks. This means I need to use them up fast and that often means scrap pizzas and/or breakfast sandwiches! 🤤👏 I have been low on money and groceries lately and didn't have a lot of meat around. But I did have ham and cheese slices for sandwiches and a few eggs to go with my clearance rack english muffins! 😆👌 Making eggs in the microwave has been a little family trick of ours for decades now. If you've never tried it, I highly recommend this practice on occasion! 😏👍👍 I used a white cheddar cheese but you could use any cheese you like. You could also substitute green onions for any other kind of onions that you have around.
