Cucumber with Sesame Seeds

I measured the ingredients I use for the cucumber with sesame seeds I make all the time to turn it into a proper recipe.

I removed the seeds from the cucumber to enjoy its crispy crunchy texture, but you can omit that step if you like. Recipe by Snow*Love

Ingredients

  1. 1Cucumber
  2. 1 tspSalt (to prep the cucumber)
  3. 1 tsp◇ Dashi soy sauce
  4. 1 tsp◇ Usukuchi soy sauce
  5. 1/2 tspSugar
  6. 2 tbspGround sesame seeds

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    (Optional) Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise, and scoop out the seeds with a spoon.

  2. 2

    Cut into 5 mm thick diagonal slices, and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt. When the cucumber has wilted a little, rinse in water and squeeze out tightly.

    Combine the ◇ ingredients in a bowl. Add the cucumber slices and mix well.

  4. 4

    Add the sesame seeds and mix.

  5. 5

    Transfer to a serving dish and it's done.
