Pork Tenderloin Steak with Onion Sauce

This steak is tender and full of flavor. The sauce makes it easy to enjoy lots of cabbage, too. On March 1, 2008, this recipe became popular. Thank you to everyone who has made it! The origin of this recipe: I found a recipe in a cooking magazine that involved marinating beef in grated onion, so I thought it might work with pork too. I made some adjustments to the marinade and created this version.

Ingredients

Serves 2-3 servings
  1. 200 gpork tenderloin block (about 7 ounces)
  2. 1/2small onion ●
  3. 1 tablespoon● sesame oil
  4. 1 tablespoon● vinegar
  5. 1 tablespoon● sugar
  6. 1 tablespoon● soy sauce
  7. Pinch● salt
  8. 2 leavescabbage

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the pork tenderloin into slices about 1/2 inch thick. Shred the cabbage and set aside.

    Grate the onion and mix it well in a bowl with the other ● ingredients. Marinate the sliced meat in this mixture for at least 20 minutes.

    Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and cook the meat.

    Place the cabbage on a plate, and once the meat is cooked, place it on top of the cabbage.

    In the same frying pan, add the marinade used for the meat and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Pour it over the meat, and it's ready to serve.
