Ingredients

  1. 250 grfresh white chopped karela
  2. 2 tbsptamarind pulp
  3. 2 tbspjaggery
  4. 1 tbspoil
  5. 1/4 tbspmuster seeds
  6. 1/4cumin seeds
  7. 1/4 cupsplit moong dal
  8. 2 tbspsoaked chana
  9. 2 tbspcrushed peanut
  10. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  11. 1/4 tbspturmeric powder
  12. 1/2 tbspblack masala
  13. 1/4 tbspSalt to taste
  14. 1 tbspCoriander for garnish
  15. 1/4 tbsphing powder

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a Kadhai add oil and muster seeds,cumin,when it cracked add hing powder.adtd chopped karela.sauté it.in golden brown.

    Then add tamarind pulp jaggery powder and mix it well add chilli powder,turmeric powder,black masala crushed peanuts,stir it for 30 seconds.

    Add soaked moong dal and soaked chana,add 1 cup warm water,add salt and mix well,cook for two minutes. Cover it.

    Ready your moong dal chan karela sabji garnish with coriander and serve with chapati.enjoy
