Ingredients

  1. 1 cupGreen Split Moong Dal or Chilke wali moong dal
  2. 1/4 cupRice
  3. as per tasteSalt
  4. 2.5 cupsWater
  5. as requiredGhee

Cooking Instructions

    Take green split moong dal in utensil and add rice to it. Mix well. Wash properly and soak in water for at least half an hour.

    After half an hour, keep the utensil in pressure cooker and add salt. Mix well.

    Close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Switch off the flame and let the pressure cooker cool down.

    Once the pressure releases, open the pressure cooker. Drizzle some ghee on Khichdi and serve hot with curd or kadhi.
