As a FTM I'm looking for quick to prep recipes. My son is cluster nursing so I'm really strapped for time. This dish was decently quick to make, and covered my side as well. Sweet and savory!

Baked Porkchops & Spiced Apples

As a FTM I'm looking for quick to prep recipes. My son is cluster nursing so I'm really strapped for time. This dish was decently quick to make, and covered my side as well. Sweet and savory!

Ingredients

  1. 4Porkchops, boneless thick cut
  2. 3 tablespoondales seasoning
  3. 2 tablespoonvegetable oil
  4. 3Red Apples, peeled & diced
  5. 1/2 cupsugar
  6. 2 teaspoonground cinnamon
  7. 1/2 teaspoonnutmeg
  8. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  9. 1 1/2 tablespoonLemon Juice

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 350° F

    Preheat a large skillet with the vegetable oil in it

  3. 3

    Place porkchops in skillet and pour dales seasoning over chops. Brown on both sides.

  4. 4

    Put diced apples in a 9"x13" baking dish and cover with remaining ingredients.

  5. 5

    Mix it up well to coat the apples.

  6. 6

    Place browned porkchops on top of apples, cover with foil.

  7. 7

    Bake for 35 minute's or until proper internal temp is reached.

    Serve and enjoy! If I could have dairy right now I would have put a little vanilla ice cream over the apples ;)
